Heddo everyones! Long time no blog! Well, obviously I've been reall busy lately...and haven't had bloggy time! Well...not much is new! Umm...OH YES much is new! ;D First, we are getting a riding ring in! It's looking awesome, and may be done tomorrow! Well except for the fence and stuff. But they guy building it is just bringing in one more truck o' sand tomorrow I think! I call him D.J. Lance...his name isn't even Lance, but I think it's cool. lol YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS COOL ABOUT DJ LANCE? His dump truck has a bumper sticker...this bumper sticker says "I <3 DIRT", haha So ANYWAY, that's exciting! Umm what else...oh, Pocahontas is at Coby's place for now. She was running short on lesson horses (poor Sky was the only lesson horse at her house! Dakota and Smith are at her parents'), so we offered her Pokey. So I've got the boys, and she's got the girls, haha Speakin' of which, Petey is also now a gelding! Another thing Petey is, is a mascot of some random 50's car hop...YEYAH! lol Not really a mascot, but kinda, haha Ummm......I'm having a riding lesson on Evaire tomorrow...Parker's having his on Pocahontas...I demand to ride her next week (hehe), and then we're headin' to PA for the FUNOMENOMENAL SLEEPOVER! It's going to be phenomonel....lol OH, speaking of Pokey...she's been going great! I jumped her on Friday, she did really well. Jumped the barrels, the flowers, and the panel kind of thing. She knocked down the flower jump a few times though, and the first time has a really funny story. So yeah, she knocked it down, so I figured I'd go back and jump the flowerboxes by themselves one time before getting off to put the rail back up. So, expecting Pocahontas (the horse who will jump anything!) to just go over it (look at it at the most), and she stops...dead...I at this point am laying on her neck...no, that's an understatement...my entire body is wrapped around her neck. haha So she starts walking around, trying to figure out what's going on. I had to hold on with my legs, and reach up to her bit to stop her. Then I did a little handstand off, then tried the flowers again (much better!)! LOL But yeah, I did that all in the dark (kinda), wearing shorts and mud boots. I got a big sore on my leg! haha So, all of that is about it! :D Glad I've bloggied for y'all =)

Pingo the angry penguin....he just loves you very much....make him happy again by reading on....<3

Wow, I just realized how soon the show is! haha Umm......ooh, we're bringing Pocahontas to my lesson tomorrow! Ying! lol So, that be about it! Oh, and Chu- Chi, a pittlepoop is someone that is small, talkative, and kinda annoying! I don't really know, but that's what it made me think of...I will email you, haha

Pingo says he wuvs you and is very happy ♥

How's that for a title, Chu- Chi? haha Well, today...Parker and I made the Chef Boyardee (sp?) pizza that The Z.A.M.S. Club made in the WEEK OF FUN! It came out a lot better this time though....a lot, LOL But it wasn't as fun to make without y'all! Son...........Sooo, then we ate it! Then I rode Pokey, she was really tired because it was hot out! She was good anyway though. She was all sweaty after, so I hosed her down....which meant she had to roll and get dirty again. But she kept laying back down again, because she had to get the OTHER side dirty. But she kept forgetting which side she did, and rolling on the same side. But one time, she realized something wasn't quite right, but she didn't realize it until she was about to get up! So she stopped halfway, looking a lot like this. It looked really weird! And she stayed sitting for a few seconds. lol, it was punnyful. She did eventually get that other side dirty just in case you were wondering, haha And that was pretty much what happened today (that is blog worthy)!

My blog to make up for missed blogs!

SOWWEE for not coming on for a while! I was busy the last few days! Well, the last two days or so...umm, Friday! I went to see Evaire! She got all 4 feet shod. The farrier said she has some minor laminitis and white line disease in her hooves, but will clear up fine. SO, we have to treat the white line disease! Then I rode her. She was MUCH more hyper! We're thinking she hasn't been ridden much since the racetrack. OH BOY! She doesn't pick up her right lead well, and has one spot in the ring where she goes much faster...like it's the homestretch, lol So, for those reasons, I am probably not showing her yet. =(=( I will be showing Pocahontas though! =D So anyway, after riding her, I helped Coby with Brogan, a 2yo Paint/Saddlebred gelding there for training. He is...interesting, but he did great! She rode him, I led him, then we were expecting an explosion when I let go of him, but he was amazing! He learns fast, but he'll probably forget, haha THENNNN, after doing some other stuff, Coby had me ride Jack, her naughty little Morgan/Haflinger gelding (kinda, they forgot...parts when they were gelding him, and he was a stud up until 3 years ago, haha). He was very good! I love riding him, he's VERY smooth! But he'll randomly stop to see if you're paying attention, lol Then I took him on a little trail ride...it went well until we came across...a small yappy dog. It was growling at us, and I just figured he'd run off if we came towards him. NOPE! He came running after us, and starting biting Jack's legs! Jack was like, "What the poop?", and then some old guy comes waddling out. "MILLER! MILLER, GET OVER HERE! MILLER!". He says to me, "If you can just hold still for a minute I can get him!". Buddy....your dog is up my horse's butt, and you want me to stand still? Meanwhile, the dog is still growling, and chewing on poor Jack. So what does the old guy do? Starts smacking and chasing the dog with his cane! lol, weird.......so on the way back, passing the house again, I got off Jack. The dog was still out! So many questions......haha So I took the dressage whip, and was waving it around making that funny whippy noise. The dog stayed back, but when I would turn around to keep going, he would chase us again, growling. So, I thought to myself, "Self...", and then I started growling at him. lol, don't ask me why....but it worked! So yeah, then I got back, did other stuff, then did other stuff. haha Thennnn, Saturday! My mom and I went on a trail ride! I rode Pocahontas, she rode Quincy. Quincy really needs to start working out, he's so flabby, lol But that was good. Then I talked to Chu- Chi on the phone (again, I had talked to him for a while before. That's when the ice cream truck came...). Turns out, Bubbles ate a bad hot dog....don't ask about the consequences..........we also realized how punny poopsicles and batteries really are. So, the conclusion is, that if we had seen a hobo, it would have been much easier. =)

Evaire

SO, Evaire apparently is feeling very...VERY good today! lol She is in training with Coby, and I got this email this morning (about the horse that we use a crop and spurs with to barely keep her moving):

"Just so you know, Evaire is a little...different.  You THOUGHT you hada quiet horse.  I think she is feeling good!  She is FULL of energy.  Ispent the first 10 minutes today circling and getting her out of her"jigging".  She was FULL of herself!  (however, when she settled, aBLAST to ride!)  She definitely hasn't had real training as she movestoward pressure rather than away from it (like a baby horse)...sheprobably was a pleasure or trail horse.  I didn't use a crop today.  Iwent to pick it up and she got VERY scared and spun circlesFOREVER (even with the crop on the ground).  After she settled downunder saddle, I trotted her for 30 minutes straight-circling,serpentining, over x-rails, leg yields (she learned themtoday...sorta)...she wasn't even breathing hard at all and not onedrop of sweat.  Are you riding her at midnight? =)  I didn't canter atall because she was so forward.  I wanted her to listen at the trot.  Ithink she's feeling good because 1.  she lost weight, 2.  she no longerhas worms...worms can make a horse VERY quiet/lethargic, and 3.  shehas GRAIN!  (I will be switching back to 10:12). =)"

On a good note:

"She didn't do anything naughty though!  Not even a spook.  She wentover the x-rails really nice today and I even had the flowers there."

haha

Picture this horse...forward, lol

Hiya everyone! Soooo, todayyy! I went to my riding lesson at MMHF, and I ended up riding Smith! I learned to use draw reins. =) We also worked on keeping him from speeding up and getting strong, haha Umm...what elsee....oh, going over trotting poles without him taking off, lol uhh, flying lead changeyness, etc., etc. haha Then I just hung out at the barn...mmhhm. OH, and I met Coby's dad's two new horses! One is a 5yo, 17hh OTTB gelding named Mocha, and the other is something or other (they say TB...he looks Appendix) gelding named Doc! They are both bays just in case you were wondering. I know you were. ;) The both came from the Camelot meat pen (same place Evaire came from), but turns out Doc wasn't supposed to be in that pen! He was supposed to be auctioned, but for $2500 starting price, not $500 something all together in the meat pen! Turns out he's a $9000 professional hunter...lol But they are both sweet! Mocha almost pulled my hand off fly spraying at one point, haha But then he was fine...SO, then the girl that was going to show Pocahontas had her lesson, and decided she was just doing Smith. =( Mucho sadness..THEN, we went to the place that Hickory lives. I watched a lesson, and then I went home! Then I rode Pokey (happyness, she got her leads about 96.5-7% of the time...don't ask me how I came up with that figure). Then I did other stuff...then I talked to Chu- Chi on the phone! hehe, I just said "we could do both"!!! (inside jokeee, muahaha, you'll never know..). And then I ate chicken. The endz.

Thing to ponder over of the day: What would YOU look like if you were bald?

Todayyyyy for meeee

Posted on May 10, 2010 at 5:32 PM Comments comments (0)

So, today started off boring, ended great! I was really tired this morning...I got to sleep late, and Penelope (fluffy cat, lol) kept rubbing against my face, which made me want to sneeze (I'm not allergic...you can't be with 4 cats...but she has a lot of fur which tickles your nose...I woke up to myself giggling because it tickled, lol). In the morning, I was trying to wake up, but I was still half asleep (I was still dreaming, but my eyes were part open). I was dreaming that someone was interviewing me about something stupid, and I was telling her that I really had to go, because I needed to wake up, but she kept telling me stories, and asking me questions, haha Eventually, I got up! The horses weren't so happy that I was a little bit late to feed them...haha Then I ate a few cookies, worked on a Z.A.M.S. Club video, watched some TV, then my mom told me to clean the tack room. So I started that, and then I realized it was getting lateish (3pmish). So I asked if I could ride Pocahontas, and finish later. IIIII diiiiddd thatttt. lol So I set up 3 jumps-A 2'6" crossrail, and a line of two small verticals. IT T'WAS AMAZINGGGG! Pocahontas cantered all the jumps with no problems (which was a big problem last year). I hope we can go in a jumping class or two at the show (23rd)! =D She is amazing, haha =) Sooo, now I am talking to Chu- Chiiiii on the phoneyyyyy!

What's Going On?
